ABOUT KINODISEEA
Kinodiseea is Romania's first International Children's Film Festival, organized by the "Script" Cultural Association in partnership with Metropolis Film. Kinodiseea represents a journey into the world of the movies, a journey especially designed for the youngest audiences.
We wish to offer children the possibility of seeing independent films from all over the world, the kind of films they don't usually see in the movie theaters. This festival' goal is to reveal the cultural heritage of other countries through the films they produce, to show the children (at the workshops) how an idea becomes a film, to attract as many children as possible to a celebration of quality films.
In addition to the screening, the five days of the first edition of KinOdiseea will offer events such as concerts, a masked ball, various meetings with the little actors from the films screened during the festival, a special day dedicated to the Romanian children's film, parties.

Because it is our dream that one day, not very far from now, we will be able to speak of an industry of children's films in Romania, we will organize a conference/meeting where we will invite professional filmmakers, from Romania as well as from abroad, representatives from the National Centre of Cinematography and from other public institutions interested in the education of our children and their access to the cultural diversity of the world they live in.
